Presbytery of Santa Fe Application for the 2025 Presbyterian Youth Triennium

In order to apply as a Presbytery of Santa Fe delegate to the 2025 Youth Triennium, applicants must be:
•    A High School aged youth having completed the 8th grade through 2025 graduating seniors. Priority will be  given to those older youth who will not have another opportunity to go to Triennium.
•    A regular attendee at worship and in youth ministry programs of his/her/their church in the Presbytery of  Santa Fe.
•    Willing to participate fully and abide by the community guidelines of the 2025 PYT.
•    Able to travel with the delegation to and from the event, July 28-31, 2025.
•    Able to participate in the Presbytery of Santa Fe PYT delegate retreat (Spring, 2025; Dates to be announced soon). 

Application process:

1. Fill out this form, and make sure you turn in your $100 deposit to the Presbytery of Santa Fe office (215 Locust St NE, ABQ, NM 87102). Until your deposit is received, your application is not complete! 

2. Send the Church Recommendation form (either the Word document, or a link to the Google form)  to your pastor, youth leader, or church leader to fill out. If they fill out the Word document, this recommendation should be placed in an envelope, sealed, and returned to Presbytery of Santa Fe by March 1, 2025. This can also be sent via email directly to youth@santafepresbytery.org. 

3.    *$100 deposit will be refunded to any applicant who is not chosen to be a Presbytery of Santa Fe delegate to PYT. However, if you are chosen to be a delegate and you drop out, or are asked to leave because of a disciplinary issue, the $100 deposit will not be refunded.

Costs:
We project the total costs to be around $900 per participant, which includes roundtrip airfare, PYT registration, lodging, meals, and T-shirts. The Presbytery of Santa Fe and Synod of the Southwest will be providing scholarships of up to $300 per delegate. Additional expenses are typically split between the church and the applicant, dividing the total cost into thirds. If finances could be a barrier to your participation, please let your youth leader know.

Timeline:
3/1/2025    Registration forms and $100 refundable deposit due at presbytery office
3/15/2025  Delegates notified of acceptance
4/1/2025    1st payment due to presbytery office
5/1/2025    2nd payment due to presbytery office
6/1/2025    3rd and final payment (from churches and individuals) due to presbytery office
